Traffic accidents have increased over the past several years due to higher incidence [1] of dangerous driving. This has resulted in increased deaths [2] on the road and insurance premiums that have doubled over a few years [3].

Technology can provide a solution.
One attempt has been to rely on telematics programs, but drivers have not adopted these opt-in programs offered by auto insurers at sufficient scale, and those that have tend to be safe drivers to begin with. The community and the industry have not managed to address this shortcoming despite attempts [4].

Our mission at Lambda Cross is to give communities and individual drivers a means to become part of the solution. Safety-conscious drivers and community fleets can join our program and contribute dash cam videos from which our AI models can extract driver safety metrics.
